Why does Yandex not remove the old version of the page from the search?
I registered a site in Yandex, about two months ago. Initially, the site was made on a free WordPress template. The template was taken from the theme catalog page of the official WordPress website.
Of all the pages on the site, only the main page was successfully indexed by search robots and turned out to be available in the search. To my misunderstanding, Yandex robots scanned not only pages, but also images, passing them off as independent pages. As a result, out of unwillingness to understand all this, it was decided to make a site from scratch, on "CMS MODx". Just yesterday I finished and uploaded it to the hosting, after deleting all the Wordpress files.
First of all, in the Yandex Webmaster control panel, I added those pages that must be indexed. Among them was the main page, which I resubmitted for re-crawling. The robot looked through it, and fixed the date of the bypass, BUT the page of a week ago still remained in the issue. When you click on it, of course, a new page opens, but the old title and description remain in the search results. When will the robot replace it, and how long will it take, or maybe I need to somehow contribute to this?

Ankhena has already posted a calendar of text updates, you can refer to it, but I would not worry about this. Will update within a week. When updating the index, incl. the ranking will also change, i.e. positions will change. If the site has already occupied some positions before, I recommend setting up redirects from old urls to new ones.
