Why does Windows Server 2008/2012 shut down when disconnected from it via RDP?

The problem is this: I need the browser, and indeed any other application on a remote virtual machine with OS Windows Server 2008 or 2012, to work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If I connect to the server from my laptop via RDP and turn to the taskbar, then everything works fine there. And when I disconnect from the server, after some time (about an hour or two, no more) it closes the browser and other applications, that is, it turns off. Googled, I did not find instructions for small software. HELP!!!

@Rsa97

See your user settings on the server or general RDP settings. There it is possible to set the time after which the disconnected user session ends.

Check the relevant GPOs (the ones with " Set time limit for disconnected sessions "). Force disconnection of inactive users is most likely set there.
