Why does windows 8 not see the full RAM?

Delivered trial version of Windows 8 Enterprise 64 bit. On a laptop I have a 4GB frame, and I inserted 2 more from the last Samsung, but I look, it still gives out 4GB. Can you tell me what could be the reason and how can I fix it?

It is possible that the bars are not compatible with each other. Look in the BIOS to see if the entire volume is visible, run it www.memtest86.com
+ Judging by the description, there are no restrictions on RAM in this Windows. See iron.

Is there a possibility that you are using an integrated video card, which takes up a certain amount of RAM?

And where do you look in windows or in bios?
Did you turn off your laptop when you replaced it? If not, then restart it.
