Why does VKontakte ignore og:description and og:title?
Good afternoon. Recently, the project decided to provide the opportunity to share pages on social networks, namely on Fb, Vk and Ok. We decided to use sharing buttons from ShareThis.
The problem is this - there is a profile page that you can share and which has its own og properties for this. Also on the same page there is a list, each element of which can also be shared. og:title, og:description and og:image are unique for each element. Through the attribute "st_url" for ShareThis is a link to the page on which the necessary og properties are affixed. Fb and Ok normally pull information from og properties from links on elements, and Vk for some reason takes data from the profile page (on which the elements are located), and not from the page where the element leads. How can I get around this?

Regarding ShareThis, the problem was solved by forcing the description and title through the st_summary and st_title attributes. Interestingly, fb refuses to accept them, and relies only on og properties from the page that is being shared.
