Why does VK api refuse to return a list of cities in English?

When requesting a list of cities with the parameter lang = en, api returns a list of the main large cities of Russia in English

. But if I request a complete list of cities in the country with English localization, then api returns all cities in Russian.

Has anyone encountered this problem, gentlemen? Is there a solution to this problem?

Try after getting the cities via https://vk.com/dev/database.getCities send ids to the https://vk.com/dev/database.getCitiesById method with the lang=en parameter
