Why does the processor get very hot for the first hour and then cool down?

Here is a processor.
amd phenom 2 x4 960t be, box, 4x3 Ghz, HT3.0, L2 2mb + L3 6mb
The first hour after turning on the computer heats up like crazy
Before this happened. I changed the thermal paste a year ago.

First hour after what? In general, this may well be if the thermal paste is applied incorrectly. At least you can try to change it.
