Why does the printer not work through the Windows 10 Print Manager?

Friends, we need help! After the next update from MS on one of the computers, printing to an HP network MFP stopped working. The printer itself is in order: it is visible over the network, controlled by settings, it prints normally from other PCs over the network. Scans (to the same PC), works in ePrint mode with a network.

On the PC, the picture is as follows: the job gets into the print queue, hangs for a while (20 seconds), then disappears. As if the job is completed, but the printer is silent. And no mistakes!

I rearranged the drivers several times (the latest version from the official site), everything is installed correctly, the installer works and interacts with the printer, but the test page does not print after installation. Stopped and cleared the print queue. Tried changing ports and drivers. I connected the MFP directly to the PC via the USP port.

Checked for viruses and scanned the OS for system errors. Didn't find anything - the problem remains.
I can’t roll back the update either - the restore points have been deleted.

Someone met with a similar problem? It appears that the problem is in the print subsystem of OS W10. Can it be reinstalled separately? I don’t want to reinstall the OS completely because of such a minor mistake.

You can not reinstall, but "reset".
