Why does the picture "ripple" when enlarged?

By means of css I increase the image of estate.sitetree.ru and ripples are visible on my monitor, I don’t understand what the problem is. Does everyone also?

Common resizing problem. To avoid ripples, you need to do a little bit the other way around. First place the reduced image, and then enlarge it to the actual size. Or just work with very high resolution pictures (one and a half times more than the screen size, but then the question of traffic will arise)

The solution is very nice.
I don't see ripples.
It takes a very long time to load, it is worth optimizing the images.
