Why does the number of votes of karma differ?

In the drop-down menu in the upper right corner of the habr it says

You have 3 votes for karma and posts and 8 more for comments

At the same time, the counter in the profile shows

Karma 5.0 (9 votes)

No matter how you put it together, nothing sensible comes out.
Who knows what all these numbers mean?
