Why does the network show on the phone?

Greetings friends, I ran into such a problem, found a phone, took out a SIM card, and flashed it. But for some reason it still shows the network, I'm not paranoid and I'm not afraid that they will find me, the geodata burned down when I connected to the wifi :D . But purely interest is creeping in, it's just some kind of bug or something more serious on androids, after which you can still track it down. I just never dealt with them, all my life with an apple by the hand
