Why does the mouse not work on the desktop version of Viber?

win7u, viber, neither the menu nor the emoticons respond to mouse clicks.
after rebooting the computer, it seems to start working for a couple of days, then
exiting the hibernate, and that's it .. the mouse stops performing its duties
in this application. Has anyone come across any solutions?
