Why does the left menu jump when scrolling?

The other day, on one site, a menu attached to the window ceiling using jquery.sticky began to jump, I decided that the problem was in it, I wrote a primitive sticky - the same thing. For a long time I could not understand what it was because I did not change anything. It was buggy not on all pages and I found a difference. On the non-buggy ones, there was a fixed block at the bottom. In short, the solution was an empty div before the closing body with position: fixed.
Just now I noticed this jumping here on the toaster, though about 1 time out of 5 somewhere, if you quickly swing down from the highest point.
This all happens only in chrome and it didn’t seem like this before. Who faced?
