Why does the hat disappear in chrome in ubuntu?

For the first time the problem appeared in ubuntu, then I switched to xubuntu, there is exactly the same problem.
Now I'm on linux mint and it's the same here.

First, the browser works fine, then, after 10 minutes, the header turns black and you have to restart.
What to do, can anyone come across this problem?
Moreover, I used to have an old video card, now a newer one, but the problem is the same.

Installed the nvidia driver and the problem went away.
