Why does the Google Maps API throw an error on all directories except one?
There is a site on the locale (WP, MAMP)
There is a plugin with a Google map using the API.
If the site is located at localhost/wp/ ,
then everything works out of the box, without adding keys, etc. key and the card, respectively, turns into a gray block with the inscription error.
Ok, in the Google console, I created a new project, added a new key, activated all the api for maps (just in case), added the code with the key to the site. But the error does not disappear, the card is not alo.
Why only in a strictly defined directory on the local, everything works without any keys?!
What could be the problem? Why doesn't adding the key solve the problem where Google asks?
