Why does the Chrome browser often "flip" to the old design when searching for something?

When searching for information through the Chrome browser, when entering a query and after pressing Enter, the browser sends not to the results page, but to the old design search start page without saving the previously entered data.

Question: Does anyone know why this is happening?
