Why does the camera not work in browsers (laptop)?

The camera does not work in browsers, namely in Google Meet, and on other sites where you can test it.
It turns on, but does not work as if they did not give access to it (the icon of the crossed-out camera), but in the windows settings and on the site I gave permission. The antivirus does not seem to be blocking this case.
What could be the problem?

Well, you look at other sites, if it works correctly, write to Google support.

If it's a Lenovo laptop, open their application (it's preinstalled, but I don't remember exactly what it's called), it contains various hardware tests, updates, etc. It has a separate item for access to the camera - go for it :)
