Why does the bookmarks bar disappear in the browser (Firefox)?
This is not the first time the problem has arisen. With the update (and without it, it happens), the bookmarks bar disappears, the one under the search bar. Clearing the cache does not help, repair through the installer - every other time. What is the matter I can not understand. Return the panel from the settings - tools, does not exit.

reinstalling the fox, did the profile create a new one?
I mean the browser profile, as an option, to determine where the legs grow from = create a new user profile in the system and run a fox or any buggy program in it,
then, after experiments, delete the unnecessary profile
from me under Linux, there is one strange glitch with dark theme,
it is quite possible that you also have a conflict between the system theme and the fox theme.
I asked a question on the mozilla forum , but without solving the question, I scored on it and gave up trying to look for answers and fix this cant
I actively use FF, I noticed that jambs accumulate with prolonged use of profiles. in particular, there were jambs with the transition to quantum.
my option:
- long-term storage of all accounts in keepass(x(c)) (choose the appropriate one)
- I store several especially valuable settings in user.js (almost all the rest are in prefs.js, but it is not recommended to touch it with your hands)
- with a thorough update of FF , I make a clean profile, tune the muzzle, add extensions (although only two are enough for me - uBlock and TranslateNow)
- I backup bookmarks from working profiles and delete them
- replicate the reference one and restore bookmarks. passwords - resave as needed from keepass*
I also encountered the missing bookmarks bar, I already wanted to reinstall the browser, but I found a solution by typing.
We write about: profiles in the address bar of the browser, click the "Restart with add-ons disabled" button, in the window that opens, click Clean Firefox.
The browser settings will be reset to the default ones, while the entire history, passwords, etc. will be saved, and the bookmarks bar will also appear.
