Why does the application take a long time to compile after switching to AndroidStudo 2?

Hello!
Previously worked on AndroidStudio 1, the application was compiled in a maximum of a minute. I recently installed AndroidStudio 2 - it began to compile in 3-4 minutes.
In the application - nothing complicated at all, the machine is by no means weak (Mac i7 / 16Gb / SSD).
The most interesting thing is that when I start the application in the emulator, then I stop it, then I start it again - it compiles everything again (you wait 3 minutes again) - apparently it does not cache anything at all?
Tell me what to do? Does everyone have the same problems after the transition?
