Why does syncthing change file permissions?
Good evening!
Syncthing is installed on NAS WD My Cloud gen2. Synchronization of a folder with pdf with a tablet on windows 10 is set up. If you access the NAS via SMB from a computer and try to change some file, an error occurs that there are no rights. According to the file properties, "everyone" has read-only permissions, while "NAS\nobody" has write permissions. This behavior is seen only in those folders that are added to synchronization. The question is: how to win? Where are these settings buried? In Syncthing, I tried to check the "ignore rights" checkbox, to no avail.
