there is corporate mail and there is outlook 2013, some time ago outlook began to periodically ignore new mail. That is, let's say a letter has arrived, it is in the mail via the web interface, but outlook writes that there are no new letters, it can write for hours. You start to do some action, for example, delete the letter or move it to another folder, as he immediately sees that it turns out that 6 new letters have already arrived 3 hours ago.

Feature of work of Outlook with IMAP. To receive PUSH notifications from the server, Outlook must have the Inbox folder open (highlighted) all the time.
