Why does nestedScrollView scroll the screen slightly up when transitioning the screen in an error state?

On my screen, there are many CustomViews that contain a TextView to display an error. By default, these textViews are in the gone state. But when the screen goes into an error state - all these customViews change the visibility for the TextView with an error to visible. Errors are drawn under views and take up screen space. This will scroll the screen up. How can this be resolved?
