Why does my phone battery drain at different rates depending on the city?

I noticed that the battery on the phone is discharged in other cities more slowly than in mine. And the settings are the same, I do not turn off anything. The quality of the connection seems to be the same (3-4 bars, lte most often catches). What else can affect the discharge?

Humidity, temperature, background. Lots of natural factors.

In addition to the communication generation itself, the location and power of base stations can also be a factor affecting the discharge. If there are many low-power stations in the city (region), the phone will be discharged faster, because the charge will be spent on reconnecting to the stations, but if there are few stations and they cover a large area, then the device will not need to worry all the time about looking for the next available base station.
A comparable example is the metro (provided that there is no connection in the hauls). At the stations, the phone finds the network, loses it in the haul, and the search starts again at the next station - this consumes additional energy.
