Why does Mikrotik RB951Ui-2HnD work stably for about a month, and then PPPoE starts to fall off?
Hello.
There is Mikrotik RB951Ui-2HnD. Connects to the Internet via PPPoE. I distribute Internet from it via Wi-Fi, ten devices are connected in total.
Such a problem: the router works stably for about a month, and then PPPoE starts to fall off. At first, restarting the router once a day helps, then the connection stops being restored at all. You have to do a configuration reset and configure the piece of iron again.
At the moment, the reset of the config has also stopped helping. The Internet sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't; ping does not come from the device, although the PPPoE interface has the "connected" status. The router is currently working. But today I've already managed to fall off once.
There are no problems with connecting a computer to the Internet directly.
I tried the firmware of both the 6th and 5th versions.
PS If it matters: private house, optics installed -> media converter -> copper...

the unicorn rather meant manually configured logs (in the firewall), they can fill up the memory over time.
If there is - disable
it, if not - configure and see)
the test piece of hardware is now at work somewhere under the table (I remember only in the action you need to select log, set the name of the log file in the same place)
By the way, as an option, the problem may be in the converter. If possible, put a switch after it for a while in order to monitor errors at the L2 level
