Why does maintenance plan take significantly longer in sql 2016?

I installed sql 2016 on serv 2016, set up a maintenance plan as I did in 2012, there such a plan was executed for about 2 hours on 7-8 bases
Now this plan is being executed for 6-9 hours, why where to dig, where to look?
