Why does linux send a lot of data when loading pages?

For example, I open a page and see the download speed, for example, 5Mbps and the upload speed is about 500kbps, sometimes up to 700, I thought it was firefox that was stirring up something, but no, I downloaded Chromium and the same situation, I went from Windows there things are completely different, the upload speed when loading pages no more than 100 kbps.
