Why does it take so long to clear the cache?

I use standard tools to completely clear the cache from the Bitrix admin panel.
Everything works, but it takes a very, very long time, for example, 3 gigabytes of cache are cleared for about 40 minutes.
Even if the disk is not ssd, then kmk should still clear faster.
Any thoughts?

You probably do not know how the cache is cleared.
First, Bitrix gets all the directories of the first cache level.
Then it recursively goes into each directory and deletes each file (in case everything is deleted, in case it is only obsolete, it also compares the date with the current one).
Resources are mostly spent on getting the list of directories/items, not deleting.
If you want to quickly delete the entire cache, then it is better to go to the server and delete the contents of the folders: /bitrix/cache, /bitrix/managed_cache and /bitrix/stack_cache
