Why does iOS 14 beta show AdMob ads without permission to access IDFA?
There is an application that shows Admob ads (banners and interstitials). They write that with the release of iOS 14, ads will no longer be shown if the application is not updated, since the user must give permission to provide access to the IDFA. Google in AdMob already has a red box with information on how to update the application. I installed iOS 14 beta 6 on my phone, ads were shown as they are, without any IDFA permission, does it turn out that this function is disabled in beta or ads will not be shown if you updated the application and did not enable this permission?

Ads can be shown without access to the IDFA. Specifically, I will not say about admob - but it is possible without it.
With IDFA, it is possible to display targeted (personalized) advertising, which takes into account many parameters associated with your device and the information that can be obtained using this identifier.
Without IDFA, regular contextual advertising or any other less relevant ad will be shown.
