Why does HP laptop not see SSD?
Good afternoon!
I have an HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ak000ur laptop ( https://support.hp.com/en-us/document/c04922433 )
It has an M.2 connector and A-DATA XPG SX6000 Lite ASX6000LNP-256GT-C was purchased for it with NVME support.
According to the specification, an SSD with NVME should work in it, but neither the BIOS nor Windows see it.
BIOS updated to the latest.

Look for a vendor lock for your beech model. True, before that, check the disk on another computer. Perhaps they locked the disks only on themselves. These are noticed for such garbage.
If he doesn't see it, then he doesn't support it.
Most likely there is a SATA drive needed.
According to the specification, an NVME SSD should work in it.Where exactly in the specification did you see it?
