Why does Gitlab runner change version from 13.8.0 to 10.5.0 automatically?

I really don't understand why?
If the job fails, the runner version changes from 13.8.0 to 10.5.0
What have you not done yet!
And if the job is successful, it changes back .
I need version 13.8.0
Help everywhere!
