Why does Chrome and Firefox have a width of 1519.2px at a screen resolution of 1920x1080px?

I ran into this problem on my laptop. The screen resolution is 1920*1080, and in chrome and firefox browsers the content width is 1519.2px.

I understood the reason, win7 is worth it, and set joxi.ru/Grqz6D1uQnDgdm
in the settings, after which it became adequate to show up. though this is not a solution, tk. now everything on the screen is very small - I'm talking about controls and menus.

Judging by the screenshot, you have HiDPI mode enabled, one pixel in CSS corresponds to 1.25 pixels on the screen.
In firefox, this can be set in the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx parameter in about:config.

danny_kotov make it a gradient or pure css

Most likely, as a background with a gradient.
For example, like this https://jsfiddle.net/uk0fuo4h/
But it's not clear what kind of block this is, why is it? How will he behave? Will it contain content?
