Why does Bitrix return status 200 instead of 404 when the page is not found?

The site works on Bitrix CMS (Business edition) when the page is not found, the site returns status 200 instead of 404 in the header? What could be the reason? Can it somehow be connected with a lot of sites, on the same domain there are two sites in different folders (my_project/ru/ and my_project/en/)?
Previously, in the settings of the main module there was an item Send status 200 to 404 error in the header - where this item is now, now there is no such item.

I looked at the settings of the htaccess file, there the setting for processing 404 is specified as
ErrorDocument 404 /404.php

And another question, how to display the standard Apache message "Not found" in Bitrix for a 404 error?
