Why does an extra character appear on the pages of a Wordpress site?

An extra character appears from somewhere. I can't understand the reason. Nowhere in the code in the backend is it:
UPD: The case when switching the mode text -> Visual in WordPress is at least some good. In general, this glitch got out in the visual editor and was safely removed there. And ended up disappearing.

this is html code, where is php?

See what page template is set in the parameters, in the admin panel. Most likely the problem is in the encoding of this php file or in unnecessary spaces.
