Why does an error occur when updating mariadb and phpMyAdmin?

Hello. Decided to upgrade the MariaDB version on the server. To do this, according to the instructions, I updated the contents of the mariadb.repo file and ran the command sudo yum updateand I get the following error as a result:

error: %pre(MariaDB-server-10.6.4-1.el7.centos.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 1

  phpMyAdmin.noarch 0:4.4.15.10-6.el7

As far as I understood something with attempts to remove old packages and / or unpack new archives of new ones.
Moreover, I now have version 5.1.1 of phpMyAdmin, which I manually updated by replacing files.
What could be the problem and how to solve it?
