Why does an access error occur when trying to push to my repository?

Previously, in a pair with another developer, he worked on a project that was in his repository. Apparently, when he added me, my shh-keys were saved in his account.
The git configs contain my username and password. And despite this, when trying to push a new project (to YOUR repository), git gives an access error, referring to the username of a colleague:

remote: Permission to <my_name>/<my_repo>.git denied to <another_name>.
fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/<my_name>/<my_repo>.git/': The requested URL returned error: 403

Is it really necessary to create a new ssh key?
I am sure that I am not catching up on something and it is POSSIBLE to conduct both team and solo development.
