Why does a Windows 7 virtual machine hang in Proxmox?
A strange issue occurs after some time when I start a Windows 7 virtual machine running in Proxmox. When I connect via SPICE, after a couple of minutes the virtual machine starts to freeze completely and loads the processor at 100%, as in the picture. I tried uninstalling the drivers for the video card (Red Hat QXL GPU) and for the network card (VirtIO), but it did not help. What can be wrong? Virtual machines with Windows Server 2008 R2 do not behave this way, only Windows 7.
When it freezes tightly, it remains only to stop the VM through Proxmox.
