Why does a black screen appear after installing ubuntu and launching it for the first time?
Good afternoon.
This is not my first time installing ubuntu.
I have been using xubuntu for a long time.
I decided to install ubuntu 19.10.
After I noticed a few glitches in the system, I decided to switch back to xubuntu.
I use uefi, I wrote the image to a USB flash drive via rufus, but I wrote that I had done this more than once.
I installed the system on a disk, and after rebooting, the xubuntu logo appears and then only a black screen.
What do you advise?

Switch to a normal OS, where there are no crooked free video drivers. Do you get it?
Tweak the video subsystem, change the driver, preferably to a proprietary one.
