Why does 1C 8.2.13 consume more than 90GB for a temporary file?

Good afternoon.
There is a 1C accounting database - on an employee's flash drive. We start actually from a flash drive. 1C is installed on a computer, the file base is loaded from a USB flash drive. Database size 12GB. At startup, it starts to eat space on the disk with:, at the pace of the user, I found a file under 95 GB - it was not possible to start 1C, I did not wait, I cut down the process. What is the reason - why so much space eats pace? And how do you minimize it? There are users who have a hard 60GB ssd in general, how can they run such a database?
UPD: I tried chkdfl or whatever it's called, it says I can't fix errors ... in general, some kind of nonsense ... What other info do you need?
Here! Tell me, pliz, how to find out exactly which version of the database is accurate to all digits? Maybe bukh is mistaken, claiming that the database is 8.2.13 ... because the checker from the 8.2.13.204 folder could not even start checking the database, he said about incompatibility. 8.2.17 the checker launched the check, but could not fix it. In short, you need to find out for sure what version of the database is, 12GB they said with a notepad you can try to open it, there the first characters speak about the version :)))) I can’t imagine ..

@AntohaRomaha

It's decided. The check utility in the bin folder fixed the errors and the database started up. Hello:)

Clearly unusual behavior. Have you made any modifications at the start of the system?
