Why do shops crash?

Often on freelancing and on forums I saw messages that you need to parse products from a specific store. Why is this needed? What do they then do with this data?

For the benefit of the CEO, they can steal the description and image of the goods when there is no way to write it yourself or hire staff to do it. Usually beginner young PEs suffer who have broken through a supplier, made a store on opencart, and the budget was not enough for the rest.

1. May transfer their data to another site.
2. They can work with this company and take goods from them, by agreement the client takes information from their website.
3. If you fill the store with standard products, then why waste time filling in prices, photos, options, characteristics. Sparsil, made his description and you're done.
Many more options.
