Why do people show aggression towards programmers?
Faced with the situation that if a person finds out that I am a programmer, then he turns on some kind of aggression in my direction. Like he works, works hard, and I sit and press the buttons and get a lot of money for it. As a result, I generally do not say anything about myself to people.
I wanted to know if my environment is unhealthy or is it like that for everyone?

The value of people's words is zero. You need to understand this. They called you shit? And how is it different from the echo that flies in the air? Why should you pay attention, spend your time and effort on this echo? There are a lot of voids these days. It generates the same verbal emptiness. Only the words of those who are dear to you or you respect them have value. Don't waste your time on such people. You can't prove it to everyone. And life is not rubber.
I have never seen negativity in my direction when I said that I am a programmer. Maybe change your circle of friends? IMHO only some boys from the district can hate progs, and normal people understand the value of education.
Never heard of it. Well, who's stopping him from sitting and pressing? If he proves his worth, wellcome! Otherwise, you need to learn ... maybe he does not know what kind of sweat and blood gives this "right to press the button"? Duck you explain.
In general, of course, do not care about such opinions. They give out a stupid person with a head.
Tell them that not everyone can work as a programmer - that's why the rest have to "work hard".
Perhaps the matter is in YOUR behavior, attitude towards people, in your habits. Maybe it's YOU who look down on people, that's why you get such a reaction. In general, there are no bad people, but idiots definitely exist. Don't hang out with idiots..
I did not face any aggression. But in general, I am big, and I can ship people without questions, delays and moral torment, if the client asks for them. Apparently this is felt, and an amendment is taken for this.
If you have such an indistinct environment as you said - change it. Life is not long enough to spend it in toxic company.
People are generally good, for the most part, guys are smart, girls are cute, and it’s not difficult to find a place where there will be a lot of them around you. Don't hold on to bad places and bad companies, even if you're unfortunate enough to go to the same sandbox.
