Why do people drink on Youtube?

I noticed that lately, one way or another, content has slipped through where people thump on camera.
It seems like everything is filed as a joke, but somehow I find it strange. Moreover, it does not look like an advertisement for vodka, but rather looks a little far-fetched, as if done on purpose.
Moreover, this is observed among Russian-speaking bloggers. Nobody in the west does this.
It is also not connected with holidays, because. I saw videos before the new year and before.
The question is - is this some kind of new trend or another trick for promotion? What is going on?

PS for moderator
The question is strange, I agree. But something is clearly wrong here.

This is the placement of advertising with bloggers - beverage manufacturers go to the leading popular YouTube channels and agree on such ridiculous advertising.
In the example of the video from the comments to the question, this looks artificial and out of place - when it comes to generators and tomography, and vodka has to do with it. Another thing is when, for example, a music producer deals with a new synthesizer provided by the manufacturer.

What specifically confuses you? Booze advertisement? Are people on camera? Do they not thump in the west? Oh well. "Truth or Drink" is just the same Western format, honestly adapted by Russian YouTubers.
