Why do cloud providers offer managed redis with more CPU?
Redis is known to be single threaded. It seems like in the latest versions, service processes, such as working with a disk or replication, can use other cores, but not more than 4.
Why then are they selling servers with 32-64 cores for radishes? If I need a lot of memory, do I have to pay for idle cores?
