Why did WooCommerce start adding index.php?

Gave a laptop for work, put Wamp there, installed WordPress and downloaded and set up WooCommerce. When I started testing, I found something incomprehensible to me. The main page is localhost/woo , the shop page is localhost/woo/index.php/shop . Where did the index.php between the main page and the store come from?
