Why did Windows 7 suddenly stop making RDP connections to other computers?
Hello, tell me this problem, there is a small local network, non-domain, there are computers with Win7 and Win10 in it, on one of the computers with Win7 - everything always worked fine, namely RDP connections to other computers and then suddenly for no apparent reason RDP stopped working - i.e. on this computer with Win7 I click on the icon of the created RDP connection with another computer - a window for entering the password for the connection pops up, as before. the password in the connection is not saved for me, I enter the password, the window disappears and that's it, and nothing else happens, no error messages or attempts to establish a connection, i.e. it just disappears and that's it, no matter what password you enter - correct or not - in any case it just disappears without any consequences, I tried to re-create the connection - the result is the same, and from any other computer to this computer, with Win7,

The description of the problem does not indicate the consequences of trying to connect from "any other computer" to a machine that could not be connected to.
Further, if we proceed only from the description of the problem, there is a software failure on the face. Perhaps the consequences of the action of malware. Therefore, I see the action plan as follows:
- Kaspersky Antivirus Free. Installation, system check
- Start-Run-cmd. In the window that opens sfc /scannow. Reboot.
- Install the latest version of the Remote Desktop Connection protocol.
