Why did the redirect to /mobile stop working?

The site had a redirect to the mobile version, implemented through site.ru/mobile, using separate templates for the mobile and full versions. The full version template contains a useragent that defines the browser and OS,

When adding an https certificate and setting up a redirect from http to https, the redirect to /mobile stopped working, so the mobile version does not open. Can you tell me what could be the problem?

There is no such variable $_SERVER['HTTPS_USER_AGENT']. For HTTPS it still remains $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'].
