Why did the plotter start smearing black?
Hey! At work there is an HP Designjet 110plus nr plotter, recently it began to print black very poorly, everything was smeared and there were small gaps in the print, small but very many. Black color is literally smeared and not printed. Cleaning the print head did not help, replaced with a new one. The problem was solved but temporarily. It took about a month and a half, the problem reappeared with a new head. The new head could not have fallen into disrepair so quickly, and it's probably not in it at all. What could be the problem with printing on this plotter? I looked through a bunch of information on the forums, the problem is unlikely in the ink, we use pigmented ones as needed. Recommendations to clean the head do not help.

There may be a problem with a dirty carriage (bottom), or a service station is clogged, or maybe there is air in the ink path from the cartridge to the head. It is difficult to say in absentia, since there are 2 problems in your description: non-printing and lubrication.
