Why did the nvidia optimus video stream start to lag?

Greetings. I use a laptop with a hybrid video card (nvidia + intel), plasma desktop. Not so long ago I decided to update the system and noticed that after updating the plasma, the way the desktop was started changed, namely, startkde was written in xinitrc earlier, but now it has been changed to startplasma-x11 and startplasma-wayland, this started some problems, namely all videos in the format mkv with a resolution of 1080p, the h264-h265 codec lags (as if the FPS is low), although the hardware should cope perfectly, it was. The system has bumblebeed and bbswitch installed. On desktop startup, integrated video card works
cat /proc/acpi/bbswitch
0000:01:00.0 OFF

Then, through optirun, I launch mpv, select a video file and observe lags almost immediately. I also looked in nvidia-smi, it has mpv and the load on the video card is visible, I also checked optirun glxgears - the fps is high, the nvidia video card is involved, but there are problems with the video, why can this happen?

@RidgeA

they say that nvidia does not work well under wayland, apparently there were X's before the update.
Need to switch to X11
