The article " Refund for windows " and its previous part ( October 25 ) ended up in drafts, and for some reason the author was banned. I would like to know the reasons for such a friendly sending of both articles and the author outside of Habr. Closing all 3 objects at the same time seems illogical: if the author violated something, then what did his articles violate? If the articles violate something, then why is the author disconnected from the site? Is the closing of articles connected with the economic interests of one American corporation?

Yes, and time has passed, I don’t remember the details, but I remember the general algorithm.
0. I called Samsung technical support (before the purchase), asked what I should do to return the money for Windows. I was told that you buy in any store and carry it to the service center, where Windows is removed for you.
1. I bought a laptop in the playerra (07/23/12), the courier brought it to me, I checked it without turning it on (that is, I just checked the fact that everything was there and the serial numbers). We do not turn on the laptop, we do not start the installation of Windows.
2. I immediately took it to an authorized service center. The nearest one to me was 3G (approximate name) not far from the Novye Cheryomushki metro station in Moscow. They didn’t welcome me there and generally treated me gloomily. By all indications, I understood that they knew about this procedure, but I was the first. However, they did not play formalism and agreed to do everything at once, so they didn’t even have to go again. They issued an opinion in an hour about the correct removal of Windows. That is, the laptop is ready for any manipulation.
3. Then I myself was in no hurry and only on August 6, 2013 I wrote to the Samsung technical support (I don’t remember what I asked, but they didn’t send a copy to the mail, but you can pretty much guess from the answer). They answered me nicely (the link from the letter is still relevant and useful):
“Good afternoon.
We are ready to compensate you for the cost of the operating system.
Please read the information at the link (http://www.samsung.com/ru/support/compensation/CompensationforWindowsOS.html), fill in the Conclusion - specifying all the necessary details and send it to us by registered mail.

4. I sent a statement to the specified address by registered mail indicating the details (the usual bank details from the account to which the card is linked. The bank was either avant-garde or tcs, it doesn’t matter at all.
5. A week later (or maybe two) I received money to the account. Everything !
