Hello. I have Debian, I use Firefox for browsing, I do not plan to change this browser, I like it.
From an unknown moment, when I try to switch the speed of watching Youtube videos, for example, to "1.25" or "1.5" or "2", although the speed is selected, it actually remains the same, equal to "1".

What is this bugos?

In Mint 19 + Firefox 68.4.2esr, when the Audio Equalizer add-on was enabled , speed switching did not work.
Try disabling all add-ons, then enable one by one and check Youtube.
Sometimes when on / off. add-ons need a browser restart (with the Audio Equalizer add-on - need

Probably a bug on the YouTube side. Everything works fine with chrome.
Have you tried clearing cache and cookies? Try cleaning.
