A year ago, MS stopped updating Win7, and half a year ago it stopped supporting it completely - it doesn't even update the Defender's anti-virus databases. This is a hint to us - tie up with Win7 and switch to Win10 (especially since for licensed Win7 this can be done for free).
However, many who do not care about updates and all sorts of security holes install a third-party antivirus and continue to use it.
