Why could the unity project be reset?

I did a unity project. I close it. After a while, I restart. I already notice something strange - the unit does not just launch the project, but imports something into it. After opening, there is nothing in the project, no assets, no objects on the stage. As if this project had just been created. Tried to recover files with different programs - nothing.

I don’t hope to restore that project, I just don’t want it to happen again.

Perhaps the scene has changed to a new one, look in all scenes
